NOTES
The organ is free-standing and encased in the rear gallery with an attached,
projecting keydesk. The Pedal case is behind the main case and houses the 16'
Subbass and 16' Trombone. Both cases are made of fumed red oak. Key naturals
are of cow bone and sharps are of coco bolo. Stop knobs are also of cow bone
and coco bolo. The music rack is made of koa, ebony, maple, and cherry woods.
The Great vertical tracker run is directly behind the Brustwerk grille. The
pedalboard is flat and radiates slightly inward. The first 12 notes of the
Pedal 8' Principal are shared with the Great 8' Praestant.
The organ was dedicated on October 4, 1981 by Andrew J. King, then organist at
First Lutheran Church of West Seattle.
