NOTES
The Great 8' Erzähler borrows its first 12 notes from the 8' Gedeckt.
The Swell 8' Vox Humana was given to the church as a gift by then
Balcom and Vaughan President William J. Bunch. It was used pipes of
undocumented provenance.
The Kilgen-style E-P unit windchests had been built with Perflex. The
churhc had contracted a Vancouver, B.C. organ technician to replace
the Perflex in the Great division. In 1993, Balcom and Vaughan completed
the Perflex replacement in the rest of the organ. At that time, they
discovered that the Vancouver, B.C. organ technician had cut the wires
to the II Mixture chest. Although the pouchboards were re-covered, he
left the chest unsoldered and the pipes were left in storage in the
basement of the church. The Great Cymbelstern was also found to be not
functioning, and several notes in the repair log at the console stated
that it could not be fixed. Balcom and Vaughan re-soldered the wires,
re-installed the Mixture pipes, and repaired the Cymbelstern.
