NOTES
This was a tonal renovation with additions by Balcom and Vaughan of its
opus 702 built in 1963.
On the Great, the previous III Fourniture was enlarged as the present V
Mixture and the chimes were removed.
On the Swell, the original 2' Italian Principal was extended by 12 pipes
in the bass to become a 4' Principal / 2'Octave unit. The original 2-2/3'
Quint was removed, and the Positiv 8' Fagot was relocated to the Swell in
it's place and revoiced as an 8' Hautbois.
On the Positiv, a new 4' Principal was added. The original 8' Fagot was
moved to the Swell as previously mentioned. And the original 4' Krummhorn
had a bottom octave added to become an 8' Krummhorn.
The Pedal was expanded by borrowing the Swell 8' Trompette at 8' and 4'
pitches.
The organ lasted in this form until 1994 when it was substantially rebuilt
by the Marceau firm of Portland, OR. and relocated to a new position in
stacked formation at the front of the church. Much of the original pipework
was retained - some in original form, some moved between divisions, and
some rescaled.
