Database Manager on October 30th, 2004:

May have been a 2m, 17 stop organ set up in 1875 at Cofield's Temple of Music, a music store. In 1882 Temple Emanuel purchased a 2m organ from Charles Anderson. Tradition says it was the Cofield organ, rebuilt and enlarged. Hitchdown swell pedal. Moved in 1899 to Temple Emanuel's new building on Pearl St. in 1899, after a fire.
