I was an employee at Kinzey-Angerstein during the time this instrument was under construction. It was a small crew building this organ...Dan Angerstein worked on the pipes and tonality, Hans Schmidt built the actions and chest, a young guy named Mark Ness, myself and another guy I can\'t remember his name. I was 23 yrs old at the time. I built the casework, which is almost entirely of common honduran mahogany. Before working here, I spent a year at Noack\'s shop in Georgetown. I brought the case-building techniques I learned there, to this shop, and applied similar skills. In the front-center of the organ, behind one of the horizontal mouldings, I recall stamping my name and date into the woodwork. With a ladder one could find this.
