Updated through online information from Michael Brady. -- Fairgrounds Association and Historical Society are looking for a new home for the organ per Sacramento Bee article of 1/24/2015. Article suggests that the organ may not have been used since it was removed from the Federated Church to the Fairgrounds. Based on the article, the local Historical Society, or James R. Stettner of Puget Sound Pipe Organs in Seattle, may have more information.

Relocated from Placerville Methodist (later Federated) Church c. 1938. Great Tutti on/off. 8' Gamba has been substituted for the Oboe/Bassoon. Lower pipes of Open Diapason are in the case. Plaque on organ in 1996 reads First Pipe Organ in El Dorado County. Purchased for $2500.00 in 1904 by the Placerville Methodist Church. Dismantled, moved and restored through months of tireless effort by Mr. and Mrs. Neal Sisson. Graffiti on organ Frank Parrymon (sp?) Placerville Nov. 1903.
