Tate Pumfrey on May 29th, 2026:

I have not had any success locating records on this organ, but it appears to have been built by Karn-Warren (or the Warren Church Organ Co., if built between 1913-15). The church was built in 1912 and the organ would have been built about the same time. The only hint of this is the photograph in the church's basement, which shows the original facade and choir loft. The facade bears strong resemblance to other Karn-Warren organs in Ontario. Casavant rebuilt it in 1946 with a new console and electro-pneumatic chests, retaining all of the pipework. Casavant typically retained Warren pipework (although often with new reeds), but seldomly, if ever, retained pipework of other Ontario builders of this era. This itself is a hint to its original builder.

This entry is believed to represent the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson [May 5, 2026].
