This entry represents the installation of a used organ. Identified from Notes on a related OHS Database entry.
This organ was originally built for the Belmont School in Belmont, MA. At an undocumented date, it was relocated here to Church of the Holy Name in Swampscott, MA from the Belmont School. When the Swampscott church was given a small 3-manual E.M. Skinner organ in 1922, the Hutchings organ was given as a gift to St. John the Baptist Episcopal in Sanbornville, NH. in 1924.
