The current church building was built in 1966; the organ installed and completed in 1970. Pipework from several other organs was used, though the builders are unknown. All pipework is contained in 2 separate chambers; one on each side of the choir loft. there is no visible pipe work. The organ was rewired in the late 1980s, but by the late 1990s it fell into disrepair and was not used regularly. The church closed in the early 2000s and the organ has sat silent ever since.

As of 2019, the console, chests & pipework still exists, however remains unused. Several attempts have been made to sell or relocate the organ, but to no avail. The church building is now used by a Baptist church.
