In December of 2022, D.C. Schroth Organ Builders did an assessment of the Tellers-Kent pipe organ from 1924. Upon arrival, about 30% of the organ was not playing/malfunctioning, some repairs were made to the console action and a ventil pouch was repaired in the Swell chest. Most of the malfunctioning components of the organ were from the organ sitting in dis-use, working the organ cleared these malfunctions only temporarily. The console was in rough shape; the console lid had been sawn at, the pedalboard was in extremely poor condition, and the keyboards had many ivories cracked, chipped, broken, and some missing. Schroth created a proposal to upgrade the organ to solid state switching based on the organs age and functionality. The owners of The Prestant had agreed to the proposal for the organ to be upgraded to solid state switching and the console to be rebuilt. Part of the proposal was taking all the pipes back to Schroths' shop to be cleaned and regulated; fine regulation and tuning was done after re-installment.
