Pastor Donelan, of St. Matthew's Church, was in Baltimore to make a contract for a $2500 organ with builder Henry Berger
The case is to be Grecian architecture & measure 18' tall x 11' wide 9' deep. It will contain 2 row of keys with pedal and swell organs, twenty-four stops, some of which are the most brilliant order, especially the dulciano, hautboy, flute, clarionet, trumpet, viloncello, and viol d'amour. The organ is to be of the best materials. It will be finished and erected in the gallery of the church by 25, December.

Concert given at St. Matthew's Church, on the new Berger organ. Both Mr. Berger and Mr. Linhard, organist at the (Cathedral) played from 2 to 6 o'clock.
