Jim Stettner on February 16th, 2022:

This entry represents tonal changes made by the Casavant Rep. Len Jeffs (London ONT. area) in consultation with E. D. Northrup. Identified by John Van Maanen who has personal knowledge of the organ. Existing pipework as shifted around or eliminated altogether. The Swell and Great Mixtures were altered.

In 1968, at the behest of the organist, the Swell 8' Vox Humana was replaced with a 2-2/3' Nasard.

In the 1980's Casavant Rep. Ross Dodington revised and revoiced the Swell III Plein Jeu; revoiced the Great III Mixture; and the Great 8' Tromba, well 8' Trumpet, and Pedal 16' Trombone were taken to the Casavant factory: fitted with new tempered brass tongues, the tuning scrolls were soldered shut, the bells cut to length, and minor revoicing (solder used to change the internal shape of the shallots – more domed), all to yield a very slightly brighter tone.
