Updated through online information from Ronna A. Davis. -- This was the replacement of the 1963 Earl W. Reed console with new, low-profile, terraced stopjamb console with increased couplers and combination action. The Great and Swell slider chests were rebuilt. A new swellbox was built. The wind system was revised with new Great, Swell, and Pedal regulators. And a new Tremolo was installed. The tonal design was revised for better pipe scale poportions and blend between old and new pipework.
In 2004, Thad Outterbridge also releathered both the primary and motor pneumatics of the Swell expression shutters. Reed switch contacts were also installed for the Swell expression pedal.
The organ has been rebuilt and revised so many times that very little of the original Stevens remains - only the case and portions of the Great 8' Op. Diapason, 4' Octave, and 2' Fifteenth.
