Dedicated 20 March 1870. Mentioned in The Philadelphia Inquirer, 26 Mar 1870, p2. The article says that Mr. John Roberts of Frankford built the organ.
"The churches of this city supplied by the same builder within a few years past are: P.E. Church of the Covenant...West Walnut and Cohocksink Presbyterian...Schuylkyll Falls Baptist Church...Church of New Jerusalem...the aggregate value of which has been estimated many thousands of dollars. Large and powerful organs have also been sent by him to Chicago, Dayton, Wilmington (DE), Trenton, La Crosse and Salem, Mass., so that the authorities of teh church across the riverhad ample president as to where to get a desirable instrument."
