The Swell Diapason, Salicional and Harmonic Flute survive in my residence organ in Derry, NH.
Updated by Robert J. Lockridge, who maintains the organ.
The organ incorporated electro-pneumatic ventil windchests and ranks from a previous organ in the original installation (which made up the majority of the organ). Kilgen added several unit ranks on their electro-pneumatic chests to the Swell and Great including 12 note extensions for the Swell stops on a four rank ventil chest. They also extended the Pedal Bourdon by two notes with new pipes.
This entry describes a new home for an organ that was relocated without either tonal or mechanical changes.
Identified by Robert J. Lockridge, who maintains the organ.
Originally installed in St. Anselm Abby Church, Manchester, NH, in 1951. Replaced by 1966 Casavant Frères Opus 2873.
