Rebuild of C. Franklin Legge organ (1937), which was a rebuild of a George Vogt instrument from 1888. Console replaced by Casavant, Op. 2005, with Solid State system, releathering, cleaning, and addition of a new 16' Posaune made by Casavant. The organ console has since been rebuilt and made moveable.
This is a rebuild of an existing organ. Identified by Ian Mason, using information from this web site: http://www.dodington.com/rebuilds.html#Chatham.
John George Vogt, a hotel-keeper in Elmira, Ontario, also built organs such as the one for St. James Lutheran Church in the village. (Source: http://www.biographi.ca/en/bio/vogtaugustusstephen_15E.html )
