Identified from information on the church's Facebook page and website, "Unfortunately, the Hinners organ was lost in the 1993 fire and was replaced by a 1930 vintage Kimball organ. The visible pipes and organ facade are patterned after the old organ so the appearance is nearly the same. Although loss of the old organ was tragic, the replacement is musically superior."
This entry represents the removal, moving, and reinstallation of a used organ for a new home. Alterations to the original were included. The organ is a 1930's W.W. Kimball originally built for First Christian Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Echo division was left behind. Identified by Jon Busch, based on personal knowledge of the organ. Installed and finished by John Grunow of the firm.
