Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- In a July 8, 2013 reply to an inquiry I had posted on the MOHAI Facebook page, they responded, "The organ was deaccessioned in 1997 and then transferred last year to the Pipe Organ Foundation. They have since transferred it to Dr. Ken Long in TX who intends to restore it and donate it to the Houston Presbyterian Church."
Organ relocated without any change.
Identified by James R. Stettner, based on personal knowledge of the organ.
-- The organ was originally built for the Freeport, Maine residence of Stanley Wood. Relocated at some point to the Lester Wolff townhouse residence in New York (Manhattan), New York. It was relocated to Seattle ca. 1984 and installed in the museum by Randall McCarty in about 2000 hours of volunteer labor between 1984 and 1986. The museum has since relocated and the fate of the organ is unknown.
