Updated through online information from Bruce Schutrum. -- Around 1965 I purchased pipes from Lawrence Neher of Tarentum, PA that I was told had come from St Paul's -- pipes that he had removed during a rebuilding of that organ. One pipe had scribed on it "A Gottfried, Erie, 1913" The stops removed were 16 Bourdon (manual), 8 Gemshorn (not tapered), Aeoline, VDO, and Gamba (from TF#). The Aeoline and VDO have been sold.

Identified through on-line information from Eric Cook. -- This is the third organ in the history of St. Paul's. The instrument was originally built for the new church building (also the third - and current structure) in 1913 by the Tellers-Sommerhof company of Erie, PA. The instrument was rebuilt in 1961 by an unknown builder, and rebuilt again in 2006 by William Siedel.
