Updated by Dan Laaveg, who has heard or played the organ.
The organ is in a practice room in the basement of Voxman Music Building at the University of Iowa.
The Schlicker organ was refurbished in the Bedient Pipe Organ Company shop; it was then reinstalled in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, a facility purchased by the university and renamed Riverside Recital Hall.
In June 2008, the Iowa River flooded the building, leaving the organs in 18 inches of water.
