Updated through online information from Daryl Robinson: The organ was removed as of February 2024 and sold to St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Cincinnati, OH. Removal was completed by D C Schroth Organ Builders, LLC.
The organ has had the original solid state system replaced with a Solid State Logic system, with an upgrade to 20 generals and a sequencer. Console lighting and controles were updated including changeover to LED and an added console overhead. The organ has further been altered to reflect a Kellner temperament.
This entry describes alterations to an existing organ.
Identified by Anthony Meloni, based on personal knowledge of the organ.
-- The positive tracker action, originally built with Beckerath standard wire trackers, was unsuccessful. The wires caused a spongy action. The entire tracker action and square rails in the positive division were changed to wood, with a much better result. This opportunity came after severe water damage affected the positive and pedal actions. The organ had been badly damaged in a flood, which left the organ sitting in 2 feet of water for about a week. All Pedal action parts were cleaned or replaced as well. The case was also refinished on the bottom portion, including pedalboard and toe pistons replaced.
6 gen., 6 div. combinations.
