Updated through online information from Andrew Henderson (September 7, 2025): As reported in the Toronto Globe (January 22, 1887): “The new organ at St. Basil’s Church will be formally opened by an organ recital and sacred concert on Wednesday evening. Mr. F. H. Torrington will preside at the organ.”
