Database Manager on February 22nd, 2019:

Updated by Scot Huntington, naming this as the source of information: Deaccession report #1973.45.

The organ was a gift from George S. Pitts (1911-1998), given in 1973. The organ was never displayed as being \"outside the museum\'s objectives\". In 2018, the organ was deaccessioned and given to the O.H.S. In 2018 it was transported by Foley-Bake, Inc. to the American Organ Archives holding facility in Warminster, Penn. Current plans are for its restoration according to O.H.S. Guidelines for Conservation, and for permanent functional display at \"Stoneleigh\", the O.H.S. headquarters in Villanova, Penn.
