Updated through online information from Walter W. Smith. -- I cannot recall how it was placed in the church in Bonifay, but I am certain it is/was in chambers; display pipes may have been placed in front of the chambers. Nor am I certain of the types of chests utilized there. I am guessing the original chests were reused and new ranks placed on either Reuter or supply house pitman chests.
Identified through online information from Walter W. Smith. -- According to church history this organ was purchased from the "Pilcher Brothers" and may have been in a previous location, though it is believed it was a Pilcher tracker of 10 ranks. F.E. Norwood and Sons of Pensacola electrified it in the 1940s, when the church was enlarged. They added a Kilgen Console and two ranks of pipes. In 1968 it was relocated to First Baptist Church of Bonifay Florida with a new console and several new Reuter ranks, again by F.E. Norwood. It is not known if the organ is still extant there.
