Updated through online information from Terry Jensen. -- This organ was not relocated to a new church building; the church building was moved (physically) to a new location on West Spain Street. The organ was removed from the building, and then the second floor of the building was moved across town to West Spain Street. The organ was then placed back in the church.
A new organ at the time of installation, identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- Designed to be in a left corner. Facade pipes across front and right sides. Great Piano and Great Forte foot trundles actually affect the entire instrument. Great 8' Dulciana grooved to bass of 8' Melodia. Swell 8' Violin Diapason and 8' Salicional grooved to bass of 8' Std. Diapason. Pitch raised to A=440 in 1950 by G. Franklin Morris.
Organ relocated to new site (same church) on Spain St. in 1960 at which time the facade pipes were repainted to their original designs by June Townsend.
