Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- Mr. Miles was an amateur organ builder who did a respectable job of assembling instruments, and "built" several for Seattle & Puget Sound-area churches. His pipework was ordered from Laukhuff and Stinkens. Windchests and other components were often sub-contracted from Balcom and Vaughan. He usually built his own consoles. This organ was used as the basis of a new organ built by R. Byard Fritts in 1976. The console was retained as was most of the pipework.
