Visited and played this organ on May 12, 2021.
The organ is playable but badly out of tune. It is not in regular use but appears to be intact. It is located in the convent's library, which was formerly the Searles Tapestry Room. It housed 4 tapestries that had been relocated from Searles' Great Barrington estate.
The property known as the Presentation of Mary Convent and Academy is currently for sale. Sr. Janice Perrault indicated that they will not sell to someone who would not respect the historical significance of the former Searles Pine Lodge Estate.
Updated through online information from James R. Stettner.
From Broadway Tabernacle, NYC. Rebuilt Methuen c. 1900. Former Choir/Ruckpositiv division.
Related Instrument Entries: Ferris & Stuart (1859)
