Database Manager on April 9th, 2020:

Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- According to text with a photo on the Bunn=Minnick Organ Co. Facebook page, "On August 4th, 2015, a tragic fire destroyed a chapel and the front interior of this historic Massillon church and left the rest of the sanctuary covered in a layer of smoke debris. Unfortunately, the St. Mary's pipe organ was very near the fire, and like the rest of the church interior, would need extensive cleaning and restorative work. At the end of 2015, Bunn=Minnick Pipe Organs was selected to remove most of the 4,028 pipes to be thoroughly cleaned and repaired at our facility in Columbus, Ohio. The bass of the 32' wood diapason would be cleaned on-site, along with the rest of the organ wind chests, reservoirs, etc. Work is scheduled to be completed later in 2016."
