First church christian scientist building located at 2039 Weyer Ave, Norwood, OH was purchased by Church Property Group in December 2019. The organ is in disrepair and not playable. Current owners are unable to afford necessary repairs and are looking for someone to adopt the instrument and remove it from the building.
Updated through online information from Don Hurd. -- This church closed ca. 1990. The building is now the home of River of Life Church. They would like the organ removed as soon as possible in order to use the chambers for Sunday school classrooms. The blower is disconnected and sound equipment is all over the console.
Identified through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:
Built in Westfield; no information.
