Updated through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:
Used pipework from existing 1940 Holtkamp, #1609 rebuild of 1895 Johnson & Son, #823; dedication recital played by Virgil Fox on October 19, 1958.
Updated through online information from Martin Hill. -- Tonal changes from original include: -Extension of Pedal reed to play on Great -Extension of Swell 16' Oboe to 32' pitch -Previously mentioned Casavant chamade replaced by a Schopp hooded trumpet In 2001 the console was made moveable. The 32' Oboe pipes have collapsed; A digital 32' Bombarde replaces them; Very mild digital sound suppliments the 16' Principal and 32' Bourdon.
Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- While considered a "new organ," this instrument retained many sets from the preceding Holtkamp organ - including sets from the 1895 Johnson and Son organ which was rebuilt by Holtkamp. A Casavant Trompette-en-Chamade was added in 1978, but it has been since removed. Tonal changes were made to the organ ca. 1985.
