Database Manager on December 5th, 2005:

Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ is installed in two chambers between the Chapel and the adjacent Assembly Hall. Expression shutters into both rooms allow the organ to be used for both locations. Dual consoles were also provided. The chapel console is permanently located in the gallery, while the Assembly Hall console is moveable. Wind pressure was 7" throughout except for the 8' Vox Humana which was on 4". Each console has a piston whereby the opposite console may be entirely cut-out. The contract was signed Novemnber 13, 1930, and the organ was to be installed and ready for use by February 1, 1931. Cost was $10,575.00. The organ was a gift of Dept. Store mogul R.C. Wieboldt whose company is named as the party of the second part and who signed the contract.
