Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was a substantial tonal renovation and enlargement. 22 existing ranks were retained, and 54 new ranks were installed. Contract signed October 15, 1953 and the organ was to be ready for use on or before July 15, 1954. Cost of the project was $43,500.00. The original 1911 chests from opus 319 were retained and refurbished. Other new chests were built as required. All extant pipework to be retained was cleaned and revoiced. All unused pipework became the property of the builder.
