Database Manager on November 3rd, 2008:

Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ had Sw. Piano, Sw. Forte, Gr. Piano and Gr. Forte foot trundles. The organ was not junked after it was removed from Light of the Cross Lutheran. It was removed by Michael Gardner of Tacoma and was to be rebuilt with a unit action. Its subsequent disposition is unknown.

Database Manager on March 7th, 2008:

Updated through online information from Ken Lysen. -- Grandson of Elizabeth Lysen. I was eight years old when the organ was installed in my grandmother's basement in the 9600 block of 14th Ave NW on Crown Hill in Ballard, Seattle, WA. The organ console was installed in the basement family room. The organ was installed in a side room of the basement, down the hall a few feet from the console. The wall between the hall and the room containing the organ was framed open to contain the swell baffles. I was most interested in writing to correct the information that Grandma Elizabeth was considered to be a member of the Presbyterian Church in Everett that had this organ for a period of time. She was not. Rather, she had been the organist at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 43rd and Fremont in Seattle, WA for some 50 years. St. Paul's and St. John's Lutheran churches merged in the '90s to form St. John's United Lutheran Church and occupying the St. John's property. St. Paul's is now home to Church of the Apostles and the Fremont Abbey (an Arts Center for Fremont). I know that Light of the Cross Lutheran Church in Mill Creek no longer has this organ. I do not know of its disposition after Light of the Cross, but presume that the instrument was destroyed/junked.
