Updated by Chad Boorsma --
The organ was dedicated on April 8, 1914, with Rev. Henry Beets giving the address and Mr. Walter C. Hartley at the console. A choir of 50 voices was also part of the program. Money raised by the young people of the church helped purchase the instrument. The organ was sold in 1943 to Calvin College in Grand Rapids (information from the church's 100th anniversary book).
Updated through on-line information from Chad Boorsma. -- This organ was replaced in 1943 by an Aeolian-Skinner Pipe Organ (Opus 1042).
